Resto van gelijknamig hotel. Er zijn blijkbaar 2 restaurants gevestigd in het hotel, één met een ster en een bistro. Wij aten in de bistro wegens sterrending gesloten. We konden buiten eten op een gezellige binnenkoer. Op de kaart stonden heel veel groenten.
Gekozen voor een menuformule. Mijn voorgerecht was iets simpel en flauws met haring. Hoofdgerecht weer vis, lekker . Nagerecht chocobol met ijs, eveneens lekker. Mijne chef vond haar goesting niet echt én vond het niet lekker. Al bij al te duur voor wat op tafel kwam, ook op de wijnkaart hoge prijzen.

I highly recommend this establishment, ideally located a few minutes walk from the sublime Château de Chenonceau.
The Auberge du Bon Laboureur was our “base” for visiting the castles of the Loire.
We found the welcome very professional and warm. Everything went well, from the reservation made by phone then on their website to confirm, until check out. We loved our overall experience so much that we extended our stay by one night.
We will return with pleasure, the reservation has already been made.

Service efficace et sympathique
Carte limitée, ce qui est un gage de fraicheur.
Poissons très bien cuits.
Menu végétarien excellent même pour un non végétarien.
Petites attentions: mignardises offertes même sans prendre de café ou de tisane…
Carte de vins de Loire très riche : le choix y est.

5 minutes walk from Chenonceau Castle, in a charming and quiet environment. Location allowing easy access to visit Chambord, Cheverny, Amboise, etc. and take lovely bike rides. We were able to rent one easily thanks to the hotel.
The rooms are well equipped, comfortable bedding, clean but I took away one star because the door to the bathroom, where the toilets are located, did not close completely. Which is embarrassing. Yet we reported it.
The restaurant is delicious with a very pretty setting, the breakfast very good. The team is pleasant in service and supports you in your choices.

I have had the privilege of being the guest of these places several times. Everything about it is remarkable, including how happy the other guests are to be there.
It is truly an exceptional place. After the essential libations where you will let yourself be guided by the impeccable staff, don't miss the garden, a haven of peace where numerous birds will gently bring you back to nature.

We had lunch in this restaurant. The quality is there with perfect service. In addition, the Château de Chenonceau is very close. So we can visit it afterwards.
