During our houseboat trip, we stopped at the Brasserie des Éclusiers both on the way there and back, and enjoyed excellent regional cuisine on both occasions. The whole family loved it.
The location right on the canal is ideal for houseboaters. We'd love to come back on our next trip!
A small suggestion: Extend the boat dock a bit and offer electricity. There's definitely potential for additional business here, especially for overnight stays on houseboats – the location would be perfect.
The food is excellent. Thank you to the cooks. However, the rest is deplorable: no greeting, and an unfriendly waiter and waitress. If you want a smile, please come back the next day.
Whenever we're in the area, we make sure to stop by for lunch. The staff is friendly, the terrace is lovely, and the food is excellent. Personally, I'd like to see a few more meat options on the menu, for example, kebabs, escalope with cream and mushrooms, or grilled steak. I know, I'm a bit old-fashioned 🤣.
