We arrived at 1:20 p.m. without a reservation and were made to feel very welcome. Superb plates with incredible flavors. The cuisine is refined with exceptional products. The service is impeccable.
Beautiful evening with friends (the table of 7 on 08/20...), in a lovely place where the calm and soothing atmosphere and the careful and inventive cuisine contribute to having a great time.
A big congratulations and a big thank you to Adrien for his wonderful culinary proposal and to his team (his wife, his daughter and their server) for their attentive welcome and the care taken in the service, we will be back!...
We found out about the hostel through the St Flour tourist office.
An outing with a guide was organized on the Alleuze castle site. An option was proposed: a meal at the Alleuze Inn.
A welcome with a smile and a tasty meal, we enjoyed ourselves. In addition, very accommodating to modify the meal a little for a gluten-free diet.
I recommend stopping there.
We discovered this restaurant during our vacation. We were charmed by the welcome and the service. The dishes are succulent and presented with refinement.
We recommend this restaurant.
The atmosphere in this old school is nice... nice high ceilings! The tiled floor clashes a little with the rather modern desired atmosphere. The table and chair assortment needs to be reviewed.
In terms of service, we waited more than 30 minutes before being offered an aperitif even though the room was almost empty. The coffee service without clearing the dessert plates needs to be reviewed.
The cuisine offered is original, good quality and pleasantly presented.
For the sea bream ceviche, the portions are gastro-style.... big eaters, you have been warned! The St Georges pork piece is a treat. The beef with smoked jus was very good but not rare as requested. The 2nd steak of beef was very firm! Damage. Also be careful with the excessive use of the siphon... the different foams must bring real added value to the dishes and not be used to fill the plates.
The owners are welcoming and want to do well... there are just a few more adjustments to take into account but we had a pleasant time.
coming from Montpellier (Teyran) passing through the Cantal a great discovery very good table with beautiful plates and a very reasonable price we will come back for sure
