A last-minute meal. An unplanned lunch stop at this lovely restaurant. Excellent, unpretentious service, just the way I like it. A €19 set menu (starter, main course, dessert) – simple, good, and made with fresh, local ingredients. Highly recommended! It's a shame I was only passing through; otherwise, I would gladly return.

Sometimes things just work out! Passing through the town of Allassac, we were looking for a traditional restaurant, and the name Auberge immediately caught our eye. A warm and friendly welcome, and delicious homemade dishes. I highly recommend this inn.

A delightful stop at the restaurant on each of our visits to Corrèze: a radiant hostess; her good humor is contagious. A set menu (18€) is offered on weekdays, as well as a bistro menu for 28€ (starter/main/dessert). Excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; everything was delicious.
