A quality, old-fashioned restaurant. France, the real thing. Delicious. The service is very attentive, even when you're in a hurry, even though this isn't the place to "grab a plate of food quickly." Everything here is homemade with love and expertise.

We had a wonderful evening with my friend. The owner knows his wines well and was able to guide us in the best way to pair the dishes. The warm and calm atmosphere, as well as the quality of the meal, will make us come back!

The sudden departure of its chef, after 40 years of service, has plunged this venerable establishment into difficulties. His owner courageously took over the pots, aided by his elderly mother. They are alone, which explains why reservations are required to avoid being overwhelmed, and why there is a wait between courses. But patience is rewarded: fine, original cuisine, in harmony with the seasons, very tasty and light, enhanced by unexpected little touches throughout the meal. The owner goes out of his way to satisfy his guests and anxiously ensures their well-being in this cozy, very friendly hunting lodge, which won't please the "come as you are" crowd, but will enchant those who appreciate old houses preserved in their original state. This is a beautiful inn, where excellent cuisine is prepared. So go there; it will help courageous people, who deserve to be encouraged, to overcome a temporary crisis.

We dined at this restaurant last night. We were very well received. The service was attentive and seamless, which is what we expect from this type of establishment. Our host was accommodating, attentive to our requests (modifications to dishes, adding cheese along the way), in short, adorable. You can tell this man is stressed because he wants to do things well for his guests so they have a pleasant time (although he was alone in the dining room, he did very well). Bravo! Congratulations to the chef as well; it was delicious! This was our second time here, and we're still just as delighted. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great evening. Thank you very much.
