The hotel has its own unique charm, definitely good for a three-star hotel, except for the extremely squeaky room doors. The neighbors always know when you come and go. And it takes an incredibly long time for the hot water to come through, but that's really nitpicking :-) The area is fantastic for hikers and explorers; there's nothing going on for city dwellers. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant; it's difficult to get a table without a reservation, and the chef is simply superb! Breakfast was also available as an extra and very good; nothing was lacking!
I spent three nights there for work. The hotel was comfortable and quiet, the restaurant had simple but very good dishes, especially the Big Papa Burger, and to top it all off, the prices were very affordable. The staff was friendly, and the owner was always available and attentive. I would gladly return.
