Auberge du Grand Dauphin sur Dhuizon

The first thing to say is that the two gentlemen owners are delightful and so friendly. They made us feel very welcome. Our room was on the front over looking the road and so was a bit noisy at night. And the bed was a bit small. The bathroom was fine. We booked half board which may have been a mistake as the fixed menu food was very disappointing. Our whole stay was very good value but maybe the a la carte menu would have been a better option.

A very warm welcome, comfortable rooms, fantastic food. Very accommodating for us and our baby, who really enjoyed tasting the gazpacho and foie gras! We would definitely recommend staying here whether en route to else where or not.

Auberge, très sympa Le restaurant on y mange très bien On a été servi par un jeune homme qui est vraiment très très très agréable et qui fait tout pour prendre notre moment le plus sympathique possible. Je vraiment cette auberge, et les Proprietaire sont vraiment très agréables

This was our 4th visit to this restaurant. It is a small quaint restaurant in the lovely little town of Dhuizon, near the Chateau of Chambord. The menu is small but has meat, fish, and fowl so anyone can find something to suit them. The reason we keep coming back is because of the fabulous foie gras. It is one of the best tasting foie gras we have ever eaten. Beautifully prepared with toasted brioche, a scoop of homemade fruit flavored sorbet or ice cream, some homemade chutney, and a lovely small salad. It doesn’t get any better than this!! Dinner was rounded out with a fish course and tart tatin for dessert. Local wines are very reasonably priced. Patrick, we will be back again in April. Thank you for another wonderful meal.

We ate this evening in this restaurant the dishes are refined and copious at the top the waiter very kind and attentive the boss also who comes around the tables I recommend

Charming Hotel / Restaurant which will allow you to visit CHAMBORD, CHEVERNY, BEAUVAL, thanks to its proximity. Home, Kitchen and Hotel all are very good.
