While passing through the region, I stopped alone to eat at the restaurant at the Auberge du Lac. In my opinion, if you have had a bad experience there in the past, I recommend you go back. Recently reopened, with new manager, well I dared and I'm only happy about it, give them a chance to get back on track! Pleasant, warm, smiling welcome. Fast service. Very good salmon steak. A little more seasoning and it will be perfect. The menu is not large, but that is reassuring precisely for the freshness of the products. Despite the road along the terrace, in the evening the setting is relatively calm and not too busy in terms of traffic. A hotel that has seen better days but whose potential only needs to be exploited by the buyer. The aging establishment has just found a buyer who has started renovations. Still a lot of work needed to bring the hotel up to expected standard. In the meantime, the manager is friendly and the bedding is perfectly adequate. Enough for a stopover on a long trip. 4 stars of encouragement therefore, while waiting for the work to be carried out and the reopening of the restaurant.
