For years I drove past the village, ignoring it. Then I visited it and discovered the inn. The food is good, like it used to be. Suspended in time. Keep it a secret.

Very good and plentiful, great team.

I had a Niçoise salad for €20, a bit expensive for a salad where there was very little tuna and anchovies, a shame. On the other hand, my husband had a courgette fritter salad with a tomato + salad for €16, which was better.

An inn just the way we like them, where everything is homemade with love... And when you can't eat there because you're out exploring, Manu's reimagined Pan Bagnat is incredible and makes that picnic in the great outdoors even better 🙂

I stopped for lunch here with a group of motorcyclists, and we were all thrilled! Manu welcomed us as if we were old friends on the terrace of his restaurant, nestled in a stunning location beneath a beautiful rock face. While chatting with him, he explained that he receives many motorcyclists who come to discover the Couillole pass, but since there are often more would-be guests passing through than there are seats, remember to always make a reservation. The village is small, and so is the restaurant (which is very popular), as is the parking lot in front. I therefore suggest not parking in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant, but continuing through the short tunnel carved into the rock. Afterwards, you'll find some parking spaces and finally a nice square. But be careful, because in the vault beneath the tunnel there are swallows' nests with chicks waiting with open beaks for their food!

We passed by yesterday, Wednesday, on our motorcycle, in the early afternoon, just as the inn was closing. But even so, when we arrived for just two coffees, the owner kindly agreed to serve us, which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back to have a proper meal this time. Thank you!

A village in the countryside. Just a drink after a short hike, a very pretty place with a church.

Excellent meal. Authentic cuisine. Top-notch staff. The setting is pleasant and peaceful, a real plus! I highly recommend it.
