During our summer vacation, we visited the Pont Rouge twice and were very satisfied each time. The first time, it was more of a coincidence; it was a Monday evening, and pretty much everything else in the area was closed. There's a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. The interior is beautifully decorated, a mix of modern yet cozy for me.
We quickly decided on the local specialty, Baeckeoffe (see photos), from the menu and were not disappointed: delicious and a generous portion.
On our second visit, we even walked there; from Ranspach, you can walk along the Thur River. This time, we first had a delicious cocktail and then pâté. And although I was worried that pâté wouldn't fill me up, it was unfounded. And it was absolutely delicious.
We really enjoyed it, enjoyed it, and the service was good – I highly recommend it!
Really nice restaurant, the food is really good. The servers are welcoming, they have a smile, and they take great care of you.
