⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An exceptional place – a truly delightful experience!
We dined at the Auberge du Pont-du-Château and, as always, it was simply perfect.
There were five of us at the table, and everyone agreed: flawless from start to finish.
A huge congratulations to Rodolphe, the chef, for his remarkable cuisine: each dish is a true work of art, with magnificent presentation, elegant tableware, meticulous attention to detail… and above all, an explosion of flavors with every bite. You can taste the precision, mastery, and generosity of the cuisine, with surprising yet always perfectly balanced combinations.
Thank you also to Christelle and the entire team for the warm welcome and service: professional, friendly, and attentive, without being overbearing, but with just the right touch to make you feel truly at ease. And to top it all off, we had the chance to visit the wine cellar: an absolutely incredible, impressive place that shows just how meticulously everything has been thought out.
Honestly, if you're ever in the area, stop by without hesitation.
It's the kind of place you remember... and return to.

A bit disappointed. The food is good but nothing exceptional. However, the wines and champagne are not up to par. The Deutz rosé is disappointing, bland at €140... The 2016 Gevrey-Chambertin, past its prime, has no place in a fine dining restaurant's cellar.
The staff and atmosphere are pleasant.

For a gourmet restaurant, we were a little disappointed by the servers (especially one waitress) who was stressed, rushed and incomprehensible about the nature of the sauces and dishes she was telling us about, and as for the dishes themselves, they were good.

Sunday lunch featuring the "From Here and Elsewhere" menu, which has donned its autumnal colors to offer us a truly delightful experience in Pont-du-Château.
Three small petits fours, just enough time to explore an exceptional wine list with reasonable prices.
An amuse-bouche of crozets (small pasta squares) preceded the snail cromesquis, which remained our favorite dish of the day. The flavors were incredible, and the presentation, with its parsley crown, was very appealing.
For the main courses, a perfectly cooked trout fillet and a pink pork tenderloin accompanied by a casserole of peas, bacon, and Roscoff onion, reminiscent of Brittany, a region dear to the Chef.
A pre-dessert to ease us in, and then came the desserts.
We particularly enjoyed the deconstructed apple encased in a white chocolate shell and its beautifully green ice cream (basil, if I remember correctly). The other dessert was a "Mont Blanc" with an exotic sorbet, which we found less impressive as it was too classic and lacked substance.
We finished this very pleasant experience with petit fours and coffee, admiring the beautiful dining room and its autumnal decor.
Special mention goes to the very friendly, dynamic, and young team (the sous-chef is in his thirties, and the average age of the waitstaff can't be more than 25).
In short, we highly recommend this Michelin-starred restaurant and its "From Here and Elsewhere" menu, which offers excellent value for money. We will certainly return for the culinary journey between Brittany and the Auvergne region.

While visiting my childhood village for the holidays, we tried the Auberge du Pont, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Pont-du-Château. The dishes were beautifully presented, delicious, and generous. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the tables were well-spaced. The service was also excellent. One of the best Michelin-starred restaurants we've ever been to.

Well, after years of hearing about this restaurant, we just had a fantastic culinary experience. The dishes were beautifully prepared and their flavors clearly demonstrated the enormous amount of work put into the kitchen. The amuse-bouches, the pre-desserts, the main courses... Yes, it comes at a price, but given the quality and the complete satisfaction we left, this restaurant deserves all our respect. Bravo to the whole team! 👍
