The food was very good, but the wait was endless! We had reserved a table for 9:30 pm, and when we arrived, we had to wait 15 minutes for a table (which was fine). Then we had to wait 45 minutes for our aperitifs! And another 30 minutes for the hot main course! That's a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes before we were served!!! The main course was very good, but the desserts were not very good at all...

The fondue was a real treat, the fish soup was excellent, the service was gracious, and the value for money was outstanding. 👍 I highly recommend it.

We ordered oysters and prawns. The oysters were excellent, but the prawns were a joke—as small as the ones you get at Rewe in Germany. The mayonnaise à la maison only arrived after we asked for it and didn't look homemade at all. The prawns were just slapped onto the tray next to the oysters, straight from Intermarché. That's not cooking, and it's not even a cold dish. It's a complete rip-off. Then they tried to rip us off too and charged us €7.50 more than what was on the menu. After we paid, the receipt blew away in the wind (what a coincidence 😉), but I caught it, and we were able to check the bill. So we went straight to the waitress and demanded a refund, and we got it.

On a friend's recommendation, we booked a bouillabaisse, and it was absolutely delicious, served perfectly. First came the broth, with all the essentials: toasted bread, grated cheese, and aioli. Then the waiter carved the fish right in front of us, which we enjoyed with a chilled Bandol rosé (Bunan) – an excellent pairing. For our first visit, it was a resounding success at this very old restaurant, run by a family with deep roots in Bandol. The service, though young, was also very professional. A truly lovely establishment.

The mushroom-truffle pizza was very good. I was a little surprised by the excessive price of the drinks (50% more expensive than other restaurants during our vacation). Nevertheless, the terrace is elegant with its sofas, and the service was quite friendly and quick.

Nothing to complain about except the desserts are a bit pricey (a small tarte tatin for €11). The gnocchi were extraordinary.

08/08/2026: Positive points: fast service, good food (pizza, roasted Camembert), quick turnaround on water refills, nice decor. Negative point: upon arrival, we all agreed (we're a family of five, including three teenagers) that we'd rarely experienced such a terrible welcome (we felt like we were bothering them and were brushed off when we asked if we'd be seated inside or on the terrace). Fortunately, things improved considerably when we dealt with the other two staff members afterward.
29/07/2026: Excellent pizza, unbeatable value for money because the ingredients are fresh and homemade, the service is impeccable and friendly, I don't understand the negative reviews

30/09/2025: No fuss, the dishes are very tasty
17/09/2025: After three years, we're back in Bandol. And of course, we're back at TiPunch. A very nice little restaurant with a great atmosphere. This time we visited three times and had excellent meals each time. The starter, main course, and dessert were all delicious. The aperitif and the delicious crème de rum vieux also left nothing to be desired. The service, the ambiance, and the friendliness with which you are welcomed and cared for are all simply fantastic. The restaurant is very small and apparently very popular, so I recommend making a reservation. This worked perfectly even with the answering machine. If we lived here, we would definitely eat here regularly.
