Auberge du Prieuré sur Moirax

One of the best meals of our trip. L’Auberge du Prieuré in Moirax offers a truly exceptional dining experience in a peaceful and tranquil setting. We chose the Menu du Marché, which was excellent value and made our decision so much easier. The flavors in each course were perfectly judged, with just the right touch of seasoning to let the ingredients shine. The amuse-bouches between courses were a delightful surprise and added to the sense of inventiveness and creativity throughout the meal. An absolute must if you’re in the area.

Very sad to say it didn’t live up to expectations. We took the Découverte menu. amuse-bouche were spectacular. Menu was nice but not wow. The Menu de Marche and Decouverte desserts were very clever and delicious. Most of the servers seemed to be stagiaires. It was lovely sitting under the trees. There were some great points food wise, but not consistent.

My favorite restaurant in the world. An exceptional experience every time I visit. A combination of creative taste and visual elegance, in a bucolic setting. The owners have truly created a remarkable restaurant!

I am always a bit wary of restaurants with a Michelin reputation. That is not at all due to Michelin, but mainly due to my first experience with such a restaurant in the city centre of Haarlem, where I had to drop out after 2 of the 7 dishes that were promised to us, because it was too 'rich', too heavy. In Le Prieuré we were served 5 dishes, but I could have easily had 7. It was so refined, so beautifully presented, so well coordinated, and so delicious. It was more than worth the hour's drive. Yes, you have to pay more than €100 pp for it, that's true. That is not for everyone, but it is worth saving up for. A feast for your senses. Glad that we found such a nice restaurant within driving distance of our house.

Food, presentation, service... everything was perfect! The highlight was an asparagus-based dessert, as intriguing as it was delicious! Thank you so much!

A perfect moment at the Auberge du Prieuré! We had an excellent time, driven by the refined cuisine of chef Benjamin, who enhances each product with talent and generosity. The plates are as beautiful as they are tasty, and each bite reveals true expertise. In the dining room, Agathe takes great care and smiles to ensure that everything goes perfectly. The wine list is superb, rich in great discoveries, and designed to ideally accompany the dishes. A big thank you to the entire team for this great experience — a precious address where we already want to come back!
