A wonderful experience at Auberge du Rhin. The location is absolutely fantastic and provides the perfect setting for a meal. The cuisine was of a high standard and excellent. Furthermore, we were welcomed by incredibly warm and attentive staff. Five well-deserved stars.

On Saturday evening, we discovered this restaurant in Seltz, right next to the Rhine. The steak was very good, however, I wouldn't recommend the tarte flambée as a starter; it was a bit dry and the cream was runny. It's very noisy, especially on Saturday evenings, so if you want a quiet time and a chat, I'd avoid the place!

I've been coming here for decades. Located right by the ferry ramp, you can also enjoy the view of the Rhine and the ships. There's outdoor seating and air conditioning inside, which was very pleasant on hot days. The owner and staff are very attentive. The salads are delicious 😋 and the flambéed flatbread with apples and Calvados is divine!

The food was unfortunately not very good. The tarte flambée was completely burnt, and the service was abysmal. We had to wait 15 minutes just for a server to bring us the menu, and then another 30 minutes before they even took our order. That was our first and last time there.

The tarte flambée was excellent, and my partner really enjoyed the steak tartare. It was hand-cut, and the seasonings were served around the edge of the plate. So you can really do it yourself 😊

A lovely, charming, and well-maintained restaurant with a regular staff. It was nice to see the same faces after a year. Very easy to reach (right after the ferry). A place to feel at home.

24/07/2026: Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. The portions were ample, and in my opinion, the price-performance ratio was excellent. You can tell that they prioritize quality. The service was also friendly and attentive. The staff took their time and were polite and helpful despite the busy atmosphere. The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance, and it was a relaxing dining experience. In my opinion, it's missing that certain something to earn five stars, but overall, there's really not much to complain about. I would gladly return and would definitely recommend this restaurant.
22/07/2026: We ate in the garden, which is wonderfully green and has large parasols.
