This place is magical. We love the mountains and the atmosphere there. This hostel is perfect. We go there regularly.

I ate at this inn and the food was excellent. I had the venison: the meat was very tender and perfectly cooked. The prices are reasonable and the service impeccable, with a very friendly waiter. Next time, I'll order everything on the menu (well… I'll try 😄).

Beautiful chalet-style accommodation with very friendly staff who speak German. The toilets and showers are located in the hallway and are clean and modern. Excellent value for money, very good food, and great opportunities for hiking and skiing in the area. Making a reservation after the Christmas holidays was difficult; no one could be reached by phone. Therefore, we went there in person. We felt very comfortable. Our requests were accommodated. Breakfast was served from 7:30 am to 8:30 am, without vegetables or eggs, but otherwise perfect. 10/10

We stayed at this magnificent inn during a (very) snowy weekend! Access is via a small mountain road and requires snow tires and chains when there's heavy snowfall! We were warmly welcomed and reassured about the road conditions. Our room was spacious, large enough to accommodate the provided crib while still leaving room for our little one to play. The accommodation is of very high quality! The restaurant is simply divine; we ate and drank very well. The welcome and service were excellent, accommodating our small child, making it very pleasant to enjoy the restaurant in such conditions. The location is secluded but offers starting points for snowshoeing or hiking for the more adventurous. The adjoining reindeer farm is the icing on the cake, a wonderful opportunity to discover a herd of 35 reindeer in the heart of the Vosges forest. Perfect for families like ours. I would recommend this hostel to all nature lovers and bon vivants!

A magnificent place at any time of year. The inn itself is superb: stone and wood. An incredibly friendly staff! Excellent, beautifully prepared cuisine. In short, I don't know what more to say: TOP-NOTCH

After visiting the reindeer farm, we had lunch at the inn's restaurant. Reservations are highly recommended. They have a lovely menu with daily specials, as well as a selection of beers, cocktails, and seasonal dishes. The food is delicious, hearty, and features local ingredients. They also offer children's menus and vegetarian options. We highly recommend this restaurant. We did not stay overnight.
