Auberge du Schantzwasen sur Stosswihr

Sortie du 15 août, nous avons déposé la voiture en bas sur le parking et avons marché à la ferme auberge de Schantzwasen (2,5 km) en montant avec Twix notre labrador. Marché à l'ombre très agréable.

I didn't stay there, but ate after visiting the farm, I really recommend it! The staff is super pleasant and the meal divine. I strongly recommend the cordon rouge! A big thank you for the welcome! In addition, the place is just magnificent, whether outside or inside. A family atmosphere!

1) the hostel restaurant Exceptional!! We were in high season, warm, quality cuisine! everything is top notch, from aperitif to dessert, the service, the staff is helpful, well organized. The meat is quality. (photos of the foie gras starter and frozen meringue dessert) I was enchanted, the restaurant and the visit to Rennes afterwards, what a beautiful afternoon. You can eat a "simple" dish outside with a beautiful panoramic view and inside you have full à la carte access. No air conditioning inside... The very small detail, too bad they don't offer a non-alcoholic blueberry spritz-style cocktail. 2) regarding the visit to Rennes: Amazing outing, you absolutely must do this tour. Very warm welcome, the visit is free, you will easily see the reindeer, there are around thirty of them everywhere, they pass by you, let themselves be petted, no risk, you can take selfies with them :-) They are very sociable, calm, peaceful and accustomed to humans. Easy walk, preferably wear sneakers. There is parking right next door. Thank you to the whole team for your welcome and this authentic, quality cuisine.

The mountain on your plate. A place cut off from the world, with a breathtaking view, gourmet dishes and very pleasant staff. A wide choice of local culinary specialties which impose a great silence the moment your plate, piping hot, arrives within reach of your fork. The 2 cheese gratin from the valley is perfect for cheese lovers. The blueberry pie is totally worth the trip. We drove 1 hour in total to this restaurant and it was totally worth it! Looking forward to ironing :)

A beautiful establishment with an exceptional location. Great services and delicious food. A break to repeat

We come regularly to this restaurant, impeccable welcome and service, magnificent place with a splendid view. The dishes are tasty and plentiful, the only downside is the white wine, which is not up to par, for the aperitif it is too dry and with the dishes it does not go well at all. However, in our region we have excellent winegrowers, who produce very good wine. Besides, we notice that every time we go to Schantzwasen, we don’t see white wine on the tables. It's too bad

we didn't book a room, we came for the excellent restaurant which offers dishes based on regional products. reservation strongly recommended.

Charming place below Tanet with breathtaking views of the Vosges peaks. Perfect meal and service. We have been enjoying ourselves at this address for several years.

Abbiamo pranzato qui il giorno di Pasqua, per essere sicuri di trovare posto abbiamo prenotato con una mail. Il locale è ben curato e il personale è professionale e codiale, locale a misura di bambini. Ogni piatto è stato succulento. I bambini hanno preso prosciutto e patatine fritte, noi grandi abbiamo preso il tagliere, il Fleischschnaka e gli Spaetzle, per concludere due dolci della casa. I prezzi sono sopra alla media, ma vale ogni euro speso. Dopo pranzo abbiamo visitato la fattoria delle renne dove i bambini si sono divertiti un sacco.
