Located on the southern slopes of the Sancy Massif, 9 km from Super-Besse, the Auberge invites you to discover its traditional, regional cuisine in a typical Auvergne setting.
The menu features truffade (a potato and cheese dish), Auvergne-style stew, coq au vin (chicken in wine sauce), and stuffed cabbage (by order).
Reservations are highly recommended.
Parking is available near the Auberge.

An authentic, family-run establishment, a peaceful retreat in a bucolic and welcoming setting. We loved our stay at this superb inn! The Auvergne stew was delicious, and the atmosphere was so friendly! Wonderful memories for us!

Meh, lunch this Sunday was packed. I ordered coq au vin and stuffed cabbage. The coq au vin was very average, dry, and clearly hadn't marinated long enough. The sauce was bland.
The stuffed cabbage was average.
However, the plates were very full, even too full. The price was reasonable, but I was disappointed with the quality of the regional dishes.

A pleasant place with a lovely Auvergne-style decor, but above all, excellent coq au vin accompanied by a superb truffade. Very good value for money at €26 including a cheese platter and dessert. The service is quick and efficient! It's full even in September, so reservations are essential. Credit cards not accepted.
