A lovely little inn that makes you want to come back. The welcome was fantastic!
The waitresses were excellent, even though I think for some of them it was their first time. Well done! 👏 The meal was very generous and delicious; the truffade was a delight.
There were eight of us at our table, each with a different meal, and everyone found it very good and very generous. We certainly didn't leave hungry.
Thank you to the whole team, and I hope to return to your area.

A pleasant inn.
Restaurant: Excellent food, good and generous portions. Breakfast was light for hikers; some charcuterie and cheese would have been a nice addition.
Guesthouse: The kitchen is well-designed for a stopover hostel, and access to the garden is a plus. For hikers, it's good value for money.

GR30 Trail Stop: In a lovely setting at the foot of the Puy de Sancy, this inn offers quality, hearty home-style cooking. The accommodation itself is rather rustic: shared shower and toilet, vintage rooms more like a guesthouse than a hotel, and the breakfast of bread, butter, and homemade jam is a bit light for hikers, unlike the picnic option.
Closed on Wednesdays, the owner makes dinner available in the guesthouse kitchen.
In short, a mixed impression. It's not good value for money.

Booking made for the seventh stage of my GR 30 hike.
Exceptional location and surroundings. The guest room was magnificent, furnished with high-quality materials, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, with a very good bed and an exceptional view.
Breakfast was decent and good, though lacking in variety. Dinner in the evening: truffade with charcuterie – a real treat!
The staff were very kind, welcoming, and helpful. The picnic lunch prepared for the final stage the next day was generous, varied, delicious, and excellent value for money.
