A weekend in Vassieux for my daughter's birthday. Hotel with renovated rooms, comfortable bedding and a lounge area for socializing. A friendly restaurant where we tasted raclette and Savoyard fondue, it was perfect! My daughter was able to blow out her candles on a generous Vacherin to share. We were able to enjoy the cross-country trails at Chaud Clapier not far from the hotel. Great experience to repeat and thank you for their welcome.

Friendly and well located restaurant, unfortunately we were very poorly received: the waitress did not ask for the meats on the children's menus to be cooked, and when my duck breast arrived (well after all the dishes on the table, but let's move on) it was perfectly cooked, even though I had asked for it pink... the waitress told me that the cooking was good 🙄 and that the cook will cook my rare duck breast 😱... in short, when you don't know anything about cooking you might as well abstain ...
