Superb restaurant, relaxed atmosphere, very good food

A sensory immersion in the heart of Flanders A magnificent experience from start to finish. The welcome is warm and immediately puts you at ease. Here, there's no paper menu on the table: you let yourself be guided by Florent Ladeyn's cuisine and discover each dish as you savor it (you even leave with a printed menu as a souvenir at the end, a very thoughtful touch). What we particularly loved: The cuisine: The flavor combinations are bold and perfectly executed. The smoky theme throughout the meal was simply excellent. 100% local: You eat local, seasonal food, and in very generous portions. The drink pairings: Very original! We opted for the selection mixing wines and beers (which is quite rare and worth mentioning) as well as the house-infused waters. Flawless. The setting: The view over the valley is superb. My advice: Arrive early to snag one of the window tables—the view is breathtaking! A Michelin-starred restaurant that remains welcoming, authentic, and creative. We'll definitely be back.

The food was very good, the head waiter was welcoming but I was very disappointed with the wine pairing which I would not recommend to any lover of good wine...I still wonder how one can choose and serve such sour wines in a starred restaurant...and how a sommelier can be so closed to feedback from his customers and without any arguments worthy of the name.
