August 2, 2026, What a wonderful moment! We chose the Auberge du Vieux Château to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday with family. There were 13 of us, and I couldn't have dreamed of a better place to celebrate this event. The restaurant, completely renovated, is simply magnificent. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and seated in a lovely, quiet room, perfect for sharing this moment in complete privacy. We were immediately taken care of for aperitifs by attentive, smiling, and always available staff. Throughout the meal, the service was impeccable. As for the food… a true delight! The appetizers, main courses, and desserts were as beautiful as they were delicious. Generous portions, quality ingredients, and flavors that everyone loved. Everything was succulent! Seeing my whole family happy and delighted with this meal was the greatest gift. I am absolutely delighted to have chosen this restaurant, and I sincerely believe it would be hard to find better. A huge thank you to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and contribution to the success of this very important day for us. We will return with great pleasure and recommend this wonderful place without hesitation!

What a wonderful discovery! We came with our one-month-old baby late on a Saturday night, just for dessert. The music wasn't too loud, which was perfect with a baby. But most of all, we loved it: the decor, the exquisite desserts, and all at a very reasonable price! We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my mother's 90th birthday. A private room was reserved for the occasion. A perfect experience from start to finish! The welcome was warm, the service was quick and attentive, and the dishes were a true delight for the taste buds. The ingredients were fresh and wonderfully prepared. An exceptional location for this inn at the foot of the old castle in this medieval town. The welcome is professional and the soundproofing of the dining room is commendable. The scallop casserole with its surf and turf flavors makes for a lovely starter. The fish is cooked to perfection, and the wine, a perfect match for the surf and turf, provides a common thread throughout this culinary journey through Brittany. The wait allowed us to appreciate the understated yet tasteful decor of the dining room.
