A wonderful experience! Refined cuisine, attentive service and a magnificent setting… This establishment is a delightful surprise and a real asset to La Roche-Maurice!

What a delightful experience! 😊 Having come to celebrate a family birthday, I must admit I wasn't disappointed by my first visit to the Auberge du Vieux Château. From the slice of foie gras to the array of desserts, including the veal rump with shiitake mushrooms, the quality was exceptional, both in the food itself and in the preparation, presentation, and service. 🧑‍🍳 The staff was very friendly and courteous. We were seated without a wait. Some dishes seemed to be taking a while, but considering the number of guests, the wait was actually very reasonable. 😌 The menu is designed to avoid long hesitation: two set menus at two different prices, but still plenty of choice to discover new flavors or indulge in a familiar dish. 😊 Now let's talk about the prices: considering everything mentioned above, as well as the decor, cleanliness, and upkeep of the premises, the bill is very reasonable. Although the establishment's "class" seems geared towards special occasions, I recommend the Auberge du Vieux Château without hesitation. Personally, I would gladly return. 😊

Meal for 12 people...everything was perfect...excellent service, smiling and friendly staff, and an excellent meal. Pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it! 👍

My partner and I discovered this restaurant by chance and decided to celebrate our wedding there, which will take place at the end of October. - Warm welcome and atmosphere. We had a view of the castle from our table, the decor was beautiful, and the vintage photos of La Roche-Maurice were a lovely touch. - Impeccable, professional, quick, and very friendly service. - 100% homemade, high-quality cuisine, using fresh, seasonal ingredients! Each time, we chose the €25 set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) and were delighted! Everything is excellent! From the original amuse-bouches, the creamy bread and butter, to the excellent starters (Landes salad, etc.), the consistently tender and juicy meats, the perfectly portioned plates, and the delicious, not-too-sweet desserts! - Mr. Crozon took excellent care of our wedding preparations. We can't wait to celebrate our special day there! Many thanks to Mr. Crozon and his entire team!

Valentine's Day menu. As usual, we were very pleased with the dishes. The hardest part was choosing. And as a bonus, a little surprise for our wedding anniversary.

A good restaurant that we've known for years, but it used to be better. The dishes are well-presented and well-prepared, which shows real care in the kitchen. The quality is there, but the prices have gone up (around €43 for the set menu), which is somewhat noticeable in terms of value for money. One drawback is the service: the wait was longer than usual, which can be frustrating, especially when everything else is good. In short: a good place for excellent food, but be aware of the price and the sometimes slow service.

Delicious food, beautifully presented, a wonderful discovery thanks to the Gourmet Passport, very professional and pleasant staff. Excellent quality andouillette sausage and superb pistachio crème brûlée...

A huge thank you to Corentin, Matthieu, Morgane, Betty, and Alizée for their outstanding service and the exquisite cuisine, from the aperitif (the salmon cream puffs and veal tarts were a delight!) to the dessert! The dishes were served hot and were absolutely delicious. All the staff were helpful, attentive, and available to meet our needs throughout the evening (they were managing four rooms simultaneously!). The setting of the main hall was magical. All our colleagues from STEF TRANSPORT LANDIVISIAU left amazed by this annual company event and remain captivated by the magic of the evening, leaving with stars in their eyes! Highly recommended!

We came as a family (11 people) for our Christmas lunch at the Auberge du Vieux Château. We had reserved the private room on the ground floor. We had a wonderful time; the food was excellent and the setting very pleasant. Everything was perfect. We would definitely go back!
