Auberge du Vieux Crozet Restaurant sur Le Crozet

I drove a group of senior citizens on a tour of Crozet, followed by a meal at the inn. Welcoming staff, generous and delicious meals. Peaceful setting. Highly recommended.

A lovely discovery, the portions are generous... a bit noisy.

The exterior is very pretty, the interior a bit more basic. The young waiter was very kind and pleasant. The meal was good, but we expected better. They forgot to bring cutlery for our main course. The dessert order was taken incorrectly. We ordered an ice cream sundae (we were waiting to find out the available flavors) and a chocolate crepe, but we were brought a crème brûlée (which I sent back, having ordered a crepe) and a strawberry ice cream sundae without being told which flavors were available. The crepe was good, but there was very little chocolate. A bit disappointed.

Divine, locally sourced cuisine, delicious homemade dishes, and warm, impeccable service. It's a must-try in the area. If you're ever in the region, I highly recommend this place.
