Auberge du Vieux Gachet sur Carquefou

I highly recommend the place. The welcome and service are top notch.. Here kindness and professionalism await you for a most pleasant welcome and moment. I went there for a couple's anniversary and I asked for some attention for my wife on this occasion (an "I love you" on the dessert plate), I was responded favorably and the attention was all the more beautiful. The waitress was really smiling and pleasant like all the staff. We will return with pleasure to this magical place.

Great service from the attentive servers, nothing to say about the meal so it was excellent for a gastronomic meal we returned with a full stomach. I recommend this restaurant, plus there’s the view of the Erdre, it’s magical

We eat well there but still happy given the standing and prices of this restaurant. To do at least once out of curiosity, but very noisy room and wait between courses far too long.

An address to know, high quality cuisine, with products of excellent provenance, the only downside is the sound of the place

The gourmet menu was delicious, really, and accompanied by a very pleasant view of the Erdre on sunny days, in a secluded location. The room is large, spacious, the tables are sufficiently far apart so that everyone can enjoy their meal. The service is intended to be professional.

It's been more than 10 years that I've heard only good things about the Auberge du Vieux Gachet, it's true we eat really well there, my wife and I had the gourmet menu for €55 with a foie gras opera, a skinny sweet potato mousseline..., cheese and a raspberry choux, everything was super good, that's why I give the excellent rating of 4. There are 3 menus from 40 to 70€, I think that There is a weekly lunch menu at €21, E/P or P/D. The restaurant is very well located on the banks of the Erdre, with a beautiful terrace which unfortunately was closed in good weather and yet we were dying of heat, the windows were closed and the air conditioning was not working. On the other hand, I don't like the decoration at all, the room is huge like a refectory, lacks charm, not fun because of the customers and the service, there is no background music, I think it's impossible given the design of the room. The service is too professional, a little stuck, dress code of a big restaurant, I don't like it. In conclusion if you want to eat very well go there it's very very good, if the terrace is open you should have a good time but not if you are looking for a restaurant with charm and a good atmosphere. Afterwards, it’s its positioning and it works like hell and good for them, that’s just my feeling.

Uniquement pour la vue sur l’Erdre. C’était notre premier essai et cela n’a pas été concluant, très cher même si on remarque une certaine recherche cela n’a rien d’exceptionnel. La salle n’est ni design ni cosy et très bruyante, le mobilier bancale s’agrémenterait bien d’une nappe..
