Excellent food, generous portions.
The two waitresses were pleasant and attentive to our needs.
I would recommend this place without hesitation, as we had a very enjoyable time.
We returned to this restaurant for the second time, and our experience was mixed.
To start with what we liked: the very friendly service, the pleasant atmosphere, the plump frog legs in parsley sauce, and a truly excellent dessert (especially the Pavlova), both in its presentation and taste.
What we disliked: the squid risotto, which looked like it came from a cafeteria or a self-service restaurant. Round rice, a generic bisque, squid rings, all thrown together haphazardly on the plate (no presentation whatsoever) and completely lacking in flavor. What was the chef thinking?
For a lunch costing over €100 for two, we were quite unpleasantly surprised by this main course, but overall, the experience was positive.
This restaurant, tucked away in a small hamlet off the beaten track, is hard to stumble upon by chance. The quality-to-price ratio should win you over, and the generous portions should satisfy even the most discerning palate. A particular favorite is the frog legs 🐸… but for those who don't like them, there are other options 😋
High-quality, generous portions at reasonable prices for a fine dining experience.
I'd love to return in warmer weather to enjoy the terrace and the surrounding greenery.
The only thing that could be improved is signage that reflects the chef's talent. Best of luck to the team!
