Disappointed. We were just passing through and had a reservation for 1:30 pm, but we arrived at 1:36 pm. We were made to understand that we were late, we apologized, and the waiter went to check if the kitchen was still open (several tables were only at the entrance). We were finally seated, but again, we were reminded about the lateness.
The eggs meurette with white wine and the kidneys were excellent! The chicken supreme was terribly undercooked, yet the chef must have noticed since the breast was cut in half...
It doesn't resemble the atmosphere described in Bourgogne Magazine. Perhaps we just didn't come on the right day, which is a shame.

We had a lot of fun here last night and appreciated the staff for welcoming a slightly rowdy group of 4 :)
Just two small suggestions:
- we like your banter but maybe telling the vegetarian you feel sorry for them is a bit of an old joke.
- it would be useful in 2026 to have just one vegetarian dish on the menu (then I wouldn’t have to ask you for help).

We came for business, initially planning to order the €20 set menu, but we all ended up choosing the €30 option and left very satisfied.
The setting is exceptional and typical of our region, reflecting a bygone era.
The dishes were outstanding and delicious, served in generous portions. The service was warm and the culinary advice was much appreciated. I highly recommend it.

A fantastic experience at this inn! The welcome was warm and you immediately felt at ease. The meat cooked over the fireplace was a real highlight: perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, a true delight. Special mention also goes to the homemade desserts, absolutely delicious and generous.
The only slight drawback: although there weren't many people in the dining room, it was still quite noisy.
It remains a wonderful place that I highly recommend!

A wonderful time at this very welcoming inn.
The meal was simply delicious: gratinéed snails as a starter, followed by an exceptional bavette steak with Époisses cheese. The meats are cooked over a wood fire and then enhanced by the sauce added afterward—a true delight.
To finish, superb profiteroles, the perfect way to end the meal.
A big thank you to the chef! 👏
The waiter is very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A place we will gladly return to!
