A wonderful lunch with friends on Sunday, May 17, 2026. The entire team was incredibly welcoming, and our server's smile was a ray of sunshine! The dishes were beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will gladly return!

I wasn't familiar with this establishment, but I absolutely don't regret my visit.
The food is good, the cooking is excellent.
The fireplace is very pleasant.
Impeccable service.
Excellent value for money.
Lunch menu €20 including starter, main course, and dessert.
I highly recommend it.

First time at the Auberge. Burgundian setting, slightly dark dining room, traditional decor of course. There were 11 of us... the €38 set menu was reasonable, but the rib of beef for two, advertised at €40 on their menu, was tempting! But wow! ⚠️it's €40 per person!!⚠️read carefully or ask beforehand!!! So €80 for a rib of beef, even a good one, is outrageous!! For that price, even at a good butcher you'd get at least three!!! The rib meat is definitely French!! Thank goodness, in Burgundy!! It's still 600g per person, which is generous... and good meat!!
Apart from that, the waiters were welcoming and helpful. The wines were, of course, excellent, as expected from Maison Fagot. A decent restaurant.

Disappointed. We were just passing through and had a reservation for 1:30 pm, but we arrived at 1:36 pm. We were made to understand that we were late, we apologized, and the waiter went to check if the kitchen was still open (several tables were only at the entrance). We were finally seated, but again, we were reminded about the lateness.
The eggs meurette with white wine and the kidneys were excellent! The chicken supreme was terribly undercooked, yet the chef must have noticed since the breast was cut in half...
It doesn't resemble the atmosphere described in Bourgogne Magazine. Perhaps we just didn't come on the right day, which is a shame.

We had a lot of fun here last night and appreciated the staff for welcoming a slightly rowdy group of 4 :)
Just two small suggestions:
- we like your banter but maybe telling the vegetarian you feel sorry for them is a bit of an old joke.
- it would be useful in 2026 to have just one vegetarian dish on the menu (then I wouldn’t have to ask you for help).
