We had a delicious meal today. Beef marinated in nuts and braised pork cheek. Super tender and well-seasoned. The pear dessert was also delicious and refreshing.

A hidden gem in the Périgord region, keep this address close at hand for family meals, romantic dinners, and lunches with friends. The chef works wonders with the freshest market produce of the week. The welcome and service are warm and friendly. Just a short walk from La Roque Saint Christophe and 15 minutes from the Lascaux cave, take the time to enjoy an exceptional meal. We had a family meal at this restaurant. It was delicious, generous, and authentic. Everything is homemade, hearty, and well-seasoned, all in a warm and inviting atmosphere. 08/05/2024: Auberge Le Moustier is just across the Pont du Moustier bridge on the fine & ancient Vezere River, a beautiful drive from Les Eyzies and just down river from Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère. Small but not too small, traditional French but modern, it is a charming place with a warm fire on rainy days. The food is creative, very fresh, very local sourced, with vegetarian options. The owners run it and chef in personal and friendly way. Menu changes weekly and can't wait to go back. Perfect for couples.
