Auberge du Waldmeister sur Dimbsthal

A wonderful discovery on our way to the Black Forest! We stopped at the Auberge du Waldmeister for lunch and had a lovely time. The Norwegian salad was generously filled with bacon and delicious. But the real highlight was the homemade chocolate mousse… absolutely excellent! A truly authentic mousse that reminded me of the one my Belgian grandmother used to make. Needless to say, the Weck didn't last long! A great place to stop again if we're ever in the area. 🤗🍫

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food and lovely location

The quality of the food and the service at this establishment are top-notch. Without hesitation, the cordon bleu and its accompanying accompaniments! A special thank you to the charming waitress with the Hungarian accent who truly goes above and beyond to make your meal as pleasant as possible 👍 I always come back... and when I'm with friends, their feedback is always positive.

In a charming and typically Alsatian setting, I ate fleichkirele. A real trip down memory lane, just like at my grandmother's, thank you for that. Plus, a creamy mushroom sauce, a delight. And homemade ice cream, oh my goodness, it's so nice to be away from artificial colors; it was soft and generous... simply the best.
