A wonderful time at Le Youdig restaurant in Brennilis!
We enjoyed a delicious kig ha farz. The meal begins with a soup made with bread and vegetables cooked in the meat broth, followed by a crudité platter. The main course is very generous: vegetables, bacon, sausage, beef, farz (a type of Breton stew), with the option of adding a pork knuckle for an extra course.
For dessert, a delicious Breton prune cake. All this is accompanied by a welcome kir and a bottle of cider during the meal.
The owners also take the time to explain the history of kig ha farz, and at the end of the meal, they sing Breton songs. A visit to the museum is even included.
Price: €39 with the knuckle, €32 without.
A truly wonderful experience in a warm and welcoming setting, with decor reminiscent of our grandparents' house in Brittany. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at this unique restaurant. A fantastic atmosphere with a lovely, courageous family; we were swept up in songs and enjoyed a great visit to the museum... thank you for this wonderful day.

If you want to enjoy an excellent Kig ha farz in a restaurant with a warm welcome from the owner, a family atmosphere, quality service, and an exceptional traditional meal, and then finish by singing Breton songs (the chorus!) in a joyful atmosphere shared by everyone, and finally visit the family museum, narrated by the chef-owner who will remind you of the region's history and customs, enriched with anecdotes, then yes, you've come to the right place. Enjoy yourself, participate without fear of judgment, and savor life's exceptional moments thanks to this warm and welcoming family of restaurateurs. Don't miss a visit to Youdig!!! This exceptional restaurant offers a truly enormous but not overwhelming Kig Ar Farz, preceded by soup and crudités, followed by a rather light Breton cake.
But the best part is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners will even get you singing to aid digestion and invite you to explore their mother's museum.
😍 And I won't say anything more because you have to see it to believe it: bring your children to discover new things or your parents to relive memories, all while enjoying the owners' lively banter and generous sharing of stories. A must-do, and a must-do again and again... You can even stay there, and you'll be right in the heart of the Monts d'Arrée ❤️
