Auberge et Bar à bières de la Billebaude sur Givry

Looking for a brasserie offering traditional cuisine, we were delighted to discover this newly opened La Billebaude in Givry. There's no doubt this brasserie will become a leader in traditional cuisine in the Châlons region. Congratulations to the chef (Damien), who truly deserves his success and knows his craft well. The service from Christian and Yanis is friendly, accommodating, and attentive: all the ingredients are here for enjoying healthy, varied, high-quality food in generous portions. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning often from Chalon.

We came upon this gem completely by chance and are so happy we did. We stopped for lunch and had charcuterie and fries and everything was delicious. Chill vibe and excellent, friendly service. Super nice to our dog which is always appreciated. Thank you.

We simply had to be there for the reopening of La Billebaude, a must-visit spot in Givry! We ate and dined there. For the flea market, the chef offered a set menu at a reasonable price. The ingredients were high quality. For my starter, I chose the warm goat cheese salad, which was generous and refreshing. For my main course, the shallot sauce served with the ribeye steak was delicious. The meat was very tender, and the homemade fries were crispy and perfectly cooked. As for dessert, the chocolate mousse was flawless: it was devoured. The service was excellent; everyone was very friendly, from the gentleman behind the bar to the waitstaff. I'm disappointed to see so much negativity in Ms. Desnault's previous comment, especially considering it was this team's very first shift. I've experienced terrible service in many restaurants, which was far from the case here. I think a little understanding wouldn't hurt; try to be a little less self-centered. Thanks to La Billebaude!
