My first time at La Billebaude in Givry. Great selection of beers 🍻 A nice, concise menu with quality products and, above all, homemade fries. Charcuterie and/or cheese boards 🧀 selected by the owner. Excellent service. We had a great time. We'll be back.

As a long-time customer of La Billebaude, I recently invited my parents to try the menu offered by the new owner. The experience didn't quite live up to our expectations. We were disappointed by the service: nearly 30 minutes before our order was taken, then about an hour's wait for our starters. On top of that, there were a few oversights, such as asking us what we wanted to eat before even giving us the menu. Regarding the food, I'll remain reserved in my judgment. The dishes served were fairly decent, but we had to change our order twice due to items being out of stock: the rice was replaced with fries, and then the crème brûlée with an apple tart. Under these circumstances, it's difficult to get a completely accurate picture of the menu. However, the service definitely needs improvement. More energy, organization, and above all, attention to all the tables would make the experience much more enjoyable. As a resident of Givry and familiar with La Billebaude, I sincerely hope the team will quickly find its footing and adapt to offer a service worthy of the venue and its clientele's expectations. I sincerely wish them every success in this transition.

Nice beer, bit expensive €10 a pint, nice atmosphere

While we were at a construction site nearby, we stumbled upon this little village restaurant, and what a surprise! It had only recently opened, and we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious, homemade set menu for the reasonable price of under €20. A young and friendly team welcomed us; I recommend it 200%!

Looking for a brasserie offering traditional cuisine, we were delighted to discover this newly opened La Billebaude in Givry. There's no doubt this brasserie will become a leader in traditional cuisine in the Châlons region. Congratulations to the chef (Damien), who truly deserves his success and knows his craft well. The service from Christian and Yanis is friendly, accommodating, and attentive: all the ingredients are here for enjoying healthy, varied, high-quality food in generous portions. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning often from Chalon.

The welcome is warm, with Damien, the new owner, very motivated, eager to do things right, and a friendly atmosphere! The place has already started to regain some of its vibrancy, and it really makes you want to come back regularly.
