La Fenière is a haven of peace, one of a kind.
I've returned several times because the energy of this place is so vibrant.
As someone with a gluten intolerance, I can enjoy everything from breakfast to dinner (and let's not even mention brunch 🤩).
Chef Nadia Sammut has a very clear vision of what she can contribute to the world and takes us along on a journey into this world of better taste.
Everything is designed to be delicious, good for our health, and good for the planet.
The rooms facing the second pool immerse us in a zen Moroccan atmosphere (at least that's how I felt!), and the bath products are all handcrafted and eco-friendly 🥰.
I loved strolling through the grounds among the olive trees, or walking in the mornings to Cadenet or Lourmarin on the other side.
In short, September was the last time I came, but it won't be the last time I come 😍

Our first experience at Auberge de la Fenière was a party of four, and we weren't disappointed. Every bite was a delight. The inventive, bold, and refined cuisine allowed us to experience a truly timeless and warm atmosphere.

This Michelin one-star restaurant has a rather unassuming location. The French bread this time was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a slightly tart flavor – delicious! It was perfect with the chef's special bread sauce. We ordered the seafood-focused version this time; the main course was fish. The appetizer soup, while a bit salty to my taste (it was very flavorful), was good with the bread – and they kept serving it! Finally, we had honey apple with madeleine bits, a perfect accompaniment to a cup of black coffee 😍! Delicious!

In the restaurant, Gil's service is exceptional, highly personalized, with perfectly matched wine pairings. Each dish reveals Nadia's creativity and commitment: special mention goes to the buckwheat tartlet with mussels and dashi flan, and the braised red mullet, enhanced by carefully selected young shoots, aromatic plants, and flowers. A unique, poetic, and committed sensory experience, where the Michelin star and green star are felt and fully deserved.
The hotel's charm isn't as strong: the rooms lack warmth and decor, the bathroom could do with a real renovation (repainted tiles, limescale, damaged toilet seat), and the overall price seems a little expensive for the level of service. Even in the restaurant, the understated decor doesn't quite reflect the creativity of the dishes.
Too bad... because the food, the exterior and the staff remain impeccable.

Provence in the South of France - a one-star Michelin manor-style lunch restaurant with a view. This is my favorite manor-style restaurant. At a glance, it is full of greenery and lush flowers and plants, the air is fresh and the environment is quiet, providing guests with a comfortable dining environment. The restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2024 and is a beautiful restaurant suitable for family and group gatherings and vacations.
