Auberge La Viperine sur La Compote

We went there with friends, on our motorcycles, and were treated like royalty. The owners are super friendly and the food is excellent. We'll gladly go back.

I'd been wanting to stop at this ideally located restaurant in the Bauges mountains for a long time, and I'm so glad I did this Friday evening when I invited my best friend to share a delicious meal! We received a warm and friendly welcome throughout our meal. They paid particular attention to our comfort, making sure everything went smoothly. The waiter was perfect, and the chef excels in her home-style cooking, creating flavorful and beautifully presented dishes. The cuisine is generous, hearty, and rooted in local traditions. We enjoyed an exquisite hazelnut foie gras, a generous charcuterie platter, delicately seasoned duck in filo pastry, and a venison stew that was simply divine! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we promise to be back. A place to remember.

Good restaurant, good food and friendly staff

We stopped by chance in this very welcoming little restaurant on our way back from a stay in the mountains; chance does things well, because we ate very well, the dishes are excellent and plentiful, home cooking, the setting is typical and pretty and the welcome very friendly, the owner takes great care of you, the atmosphere is family and friendly. The price-quality ratio is very good; you can go there with your eyes closed. Thank you again for your welcome
