Auberge le Baeckeoffe sur Sarrebourg

Takeout is great. Unfortunately, we didn't get takeout this time. Luckily, the food is excellent because the atmosphere is practically nonexistent. We made a reservation, arrived, and received no greeting. We were told to sit at the hidden banquette table on the left. The waitress was mildly friendly, despite her lack of a smile, but very, very rushed. She quickly brought the seaweed salad and left. The same thing happened for the rest of the meal. We could hear the waitresses shouting every five minutes, perhaps even arguing? The dorayaki was still slightly frozen, and the matcha latte was a complete disaster—too much matcha (luckily, the manager offered it to me, even though her waitress had just told me to add ice cubes to soften the matcha and make it less hot...). In short, it's a shame because this restaurant is still a good place to eat ultra-fresh sushi, maki, and sashimi.

This is my favorite restaurant where I can eat sushi without worrying about ending up in the hospital! The staff are always simply wonderful! Thank you ☺️

Takeout order. Very disappointed with the service. The meal arrived and was okay, but I would have been better off not ordering anything. The kimchi had no taste. The sushi rice was way overcooked. The soup had a measly piece of tofu at the bottom of the bowl. And let's not even talk about the undercooked takoyaki... Once bitten, twice shunned. Next time I'll spend my 51 euros at a chain restaurant; it'll be much better.

We had a very good meal. The menu offers a varied selection, with something to satisfy all tastes. The availability of two children's menus is also a real plus. However, the service was a little slow, probably due to staff shortages.

Great selection, freshness, delicious food, and attentive service – it was our first visit, we will definitely be back and we highly recommend it!

My husband and I had a fantastic meal. It's not our first time there, and we're never disappointed. The food is excellent, and the waitress was pleasant. Just one small drawback: the menus are worn out; they've seen better days. Perhaps they should consider replacing them. The parking lot is far too small, but we parked in the cinema parking lot, which is a 5-minute walk, so it's not a big deal. 😅😅 It's a nice change from the all-you-can-eat buffet at the competitor's place.

We had a wonderful evening with friends and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great lunch experience! Very good poke bowls with shrimp tempura! Original desserts, with a special mention for the Finger sabor.

It's always a pleasure to eat there; the service could be less impersonal, but the quality is definitely there. That's what matters.
