20/05/2026: We go there occasionally, but we've never been disappointed. The pasta is excellent, and if you want to try steak tartare, this is the place to go. Very fresh, very tasty, tailored to your preferences, and prepared right in front of you. We'll definitely be back.

03/08/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant today and we were delighted! The daily special was simply delicious, prepared with high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable: welcoming, friendly, and very professional. The value for money is excellent, with a generous and truly delicious menu. A wonderful place that we recommend without hesitation. We will definitely be back!

Delicious gourmet cuisine at affordable prices. Excellent wines. An address to add to your address book, and it will be our go-to spot for affordable luxury dining. 01/08/2026: Not for a drink (avoid it). We went there before a theater performance and had a 30-minute wait. The weather was nice, let's go for a drink. I've lived in Paris for 25 years. I know that the Montorgueil district is one of the most touristy areas of Paris, especially at the end of July. I avoid cafes where the waiters wear the official, postcard-perfect Parisian attire. I sat down with my two teenagers on the terrace of this cafe, which seemed more authentic to me. There were three tables taken; it was 5 p.m. My teenagers are tall enough to take two small tables together (sitting face-to-face is impossible, the rows are so close). The waitress didn't say anything until she learned that my son would only be having a glass of water. I ordered a cocktail (tasteless except for the numerous ice cubes that give it volume), and my daughter had a small fruit juice. And the waitress refused to serve my son a glass of water; he had to "order." In France, it's still acceptable to ask for tap water. I pretended to leave (which I should have), but the owner agreed to a glass of water on the condition that we squeeze around a single table to make room for those who would come to eat. It was 5:10 PM. The terrace was still completely empty. The bill? Over 16 euros. A rip-off? Definitely. If I had to get fleeced, I would have gone to a touristy café. For a drink, this really isn't the place.
26/07/2026: Amazing pizza! We got the stracciatella, pistachio pesto, mortadella and it was phenomenal. It’s a Neapolitan style pizza place and they did it really well! We also got the lasagna and it was really good. It’s located on a lively street “Rue du Montegruil” so it was nice to sit outside under umbrellas front with amazing food and people watch.

13/08/2026: A tasteless carpaccio. Two veal escalopes in cream sauce that were too tough. A stair step that wasn't marked.
10/08/2026: It's actually more of a bar with a later-added wooden terrace than a restaurant. We were seated very quickly by a very friendly waitress. Our starter arrived fairly quickly along with our drinks. Although we ordered the daily special (beef ribs) for €38 and a "super giant" hamburger for €23, we had to wait almost 40 minutes before being served. The waitress was difficult to reach. Finally, our food arrived, but the super giant hamburger was a normal size and not as good as a regular Burger King hamburger. The second dish was decent enough but absolutely not worth the price. The church bell next door rang, but that's not its fault, and the conversation at the next table was like something you'd hear in a peanut bar. In the end, we paid around €92 for a starter, a daily special, a hamburger, and four soft drinks. In short, a bad experience.

27/06/2026: Bad experience.
It was too hot, and we had a waiter who was completely incompetent. He spilled sauce on the table and didn't wipe it up! We asked three times for a carafe of water, the wine arrived too warm, the restrooms were in a deplorable state, and there was a hair in our glass. I won't be going back. The prices are excessive, and the portions aren't large enough.

24/08/2026: Catastrophic experience at Flunch
A 40-minute wait for a simple medium-rare hamburger! It's simply unacceptable.
The cook takes about fifteen orders, becomes completely overwhelmed, loses track of everything, ends up throwing it all away, and leaves his station. Unheard of! Meanwhile, the customers wait, and no one seems to be taking charge.
And when the food finally arrives, it's COLD! No vegetables on the side, even though they were supposed to be. A 40-minute wait for a cold and incomplete plate is shameful.
And as if that weren't enough, the dining room is extremely noisy, making the experience even more unpleasant.
I can understand that it might be busy, but this is a completely deplorable operation: endless wait, outdated kitchen, cold food, missing sides, and an extremely noisy atmosphere.
Quite frankly, for an establishment like Flunch, this is far from acceptable. Such a bad experience makes me absolutely not want to return.
24/08/2026: The cook was unpleasant to a customer and left the service shouting, "That's normal!" Not a single manager showed up. Frankly disappointing for a Flunch; avoid it!
