Very good, simple but very well-executed cuisine; the potato fritters are excellent!

In the heart of the small village of Vailly, home to no fewer than four restaurants, Café du Billat is a place truly worth a visit. It boasts a genuine bistro atmosphere, warm and welcoming, where you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. The menu, intentionally concise, offers carefully prepared dishes, as well as delightful reinterpretations of classics, such as the excellent Croc-Chab, as original as it is delicious. Add to that a warm welcome, friendly service, and an ambiance perfect for lingering, and you have a place I wholeheartedly recommend. A wonderful discovery that you'll want to share… and return to!

The sauces are a bit salty for me, but the dishes made with beef and pork are so delicious.

A small donut evening; I wasn't disappointed with the quality of the product, which was very good. The only slight downside was the quantity! A shame. Pleasant service.

I went back and the service has improved considerably! The dish was excellent and the price (€14) very reasonable. However, the service is far too slow for a lunch break: a 20-minute wait for my order and 30 minutes without water. No one offered me coffee or dessert, so I had to get up to pay and not be late for work. It's a shame, because the food is very good.
