Auberge le Bois Dore sur Cuts

We ate very well, but during a heatwave, a nearly three-hour service when the restaurant wasn't even full is unacceptable. Without air conditioning or a fan, the room was 32 degrees Celsius (I could see the thermometer). Something needs to be done about this because the meal became unbearable.

Passing through the region, we had lunch at this former coaching inn in a lovely rustic setting. The very classy owner served us with humor, making the meal enjoyable, with thoughtful touches that were much appreciated. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the cheese platter was magnificent. To finish, the excellent coffee left us with a wonderful memory of our meal. A highly recommended inn.

I used to come here with my parents when I was a child, and now at 51, I'm still amazed by the finesse of Mr. Paumelle's cuisine, the wine pairings, and his cheese platter! An unexpected wealth of local produce. The desserts are sublime. A truly wonderful experience guaranteed. We're so lucky to have this restaurant!

After a trip to Noyon, a lunch break allowed us to discover this restaurant, or rather, this "Auberge Le Bois Doré," located in a former 17th-century coaching inn. A reconstruction on one wall recreates the atmosphere of that era. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, who was very welcoming, smiling, and friendly. The service was impeccable. We enjoyed the entire meal, from the appetizer to the dessert. The presentation, the accompaniments, and the refined and subtle flavors delighted us throughout the entire lunch. It was a treat for our taste buds and a true pleasure! This lunch stop was a delightful experience at this inn, which also offers catering services, receptions, weddings, takeout, and more. A huge thank you to the entire team.
