A place where it’s good to live and, above all, eat well Welcomed with a smile in a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is tempting and the plates could be lickable if decency were not opposed.😉 From the tourin to the dessert including the foie gras, the duck breast and the Salardaise potatoes, everything is copious, fine, well presented and excellently cooked. And the icing on the cake, a homemade brandy is offered to us at the end of the meal. If you pass by and like cuisine made with fresh and authentic products, stop by.

Looking for a restaurant offering Périgord specialties, we randomly came across the Auberge Le Colombier. We were simply won over by the authenticity of the place, the welcome offered by the waitresses but above all: by the delicious, affordable and quality meal. Simple, no-fuss cuisine that delighted our taste buds! If you hesitate, don't move on, you'll miss something. 😉

Ce restaurant propose des plats locaux de très bonne qualité. Les prix sont dans la moyenne, rien d'exorbitant. Le service manque, en revanche, un peu de dynamisme. Pensez à réserver en avance !

19/10/2024: L'endroit est charmant, possible de manger dans la patio au frais ,mais en octobre , c'est plutôt à l'intérieur. La déco est sympa avec des toiles contemporaines. Cuisine et produits de grande qualité . Accueil et service au niveau de la cuisine. Nous reviendrons!

09/09/2024: Nous avons été déçus par ce restaurant.Je dirais que c’est un restaurant chaleureux mais Le gérant étant seul à servir, nous avons beaucoup trop attendu… Concernant les assiettes des plats principaux nous avons trouvé qu’elles étaient peu garnies et mon mari a été très très déçu par son confit de canard qui était sec comme c’est pas possible. Quel dommage… Surtout à ce prix ! Nous trouvons que les menus sont chers pour ce que nous avons mangé.
28/08/2024: Typical restaurant of the region. Jovial and friendly welcome and service. Very good local cuisine, simple and delicious. Restaurant open all year round with very good local products. A must if you travel through the Dordogne. Very good address. Little LOUIS.
