Auberge Le Jardin De La Rivière sur Foncine-Le-Haut

We booked the day before. Motorcycle parking is available in front of the hotel, and the owner keeps an eye on it. The cuisine is local and incredibly fresh. A good night's sleep before heading home.

Friendly welcome, good bedding, very quiet location close to beautiful walks in a very beautiful region and we had good dinner both evenings.

Warm welcome. Half-board with à la carte options. Excellent blueberry tart.

It's a shame the reception doesn't open until 5 pm, especially when you're hiking on a rainy day and arrive at 4:30 pm only to be told to wait at the local bar or organic co-op. The lady's friendliness could be improved. The room was small but okay for one night. The evening meal was fine.

At the Foncine le Haut campsite, we took a small path and found this very beautiful establishment. We quickly appreciated the managers for their availability. Emmanuelle in the service offered us her smile, her kindness and very good advice. In the kitchen, Sébastien offered us regional dishes to die for, but also little madeleines of Proust... wonderful childhood memories (the patouilloux) 🙏 rose des sables and apple tart. In short, very sincerely, a warm place where we enjoyed ourselves and where the welcome was truly pleasant and warm.

We were two cyclists. The room was quiet and the garden pleasant. We received a warm welcome from both the owner and staff, and the service was impeccable. The food was excellent during our dinner. A wonderful time relaxing and enjoying good company.

From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the warm welcome and the friendly atmosphere. We stayed in a room overlooking the river. The room was comfortable. As for the food, it was a real treat: the chef, passionate and attentive, takes care of his guests with great kindness. He's assisted by his mother, who is a tremendous help and truly a wonderful person. Hats off to her!

A very pleasant stop during our hike on the GTJ. We really enjoyed the welcome, the comfort, the restaurant, and the shaded terrace. We also appreciated the proximity of the mini-market where we were able to buy some supplies for our next day's hike.
