Auberge Lentaise sur Lent

Unbeatable value for money! We're talking about both the food and the service. Everything here is homemade, even the pastries. I've been having lunch three times a week at this establishment for the past five months, and frankly, everything is top-notch: amuse-bouche, starter, main course, dessert—true cuisine, almost gourmet. There's a huge variety of dishes, undoubtedly depending on the season and what's available, but what they offer is truly of a very, very high standard. It's certainly the best restaurant within a 15km radius, and I've been eating there every day for years. The welcome is always excellent, and the owner is always smiling. Even though she must be running a half-marathon every lunchtime, she's always in a good mood despite the challenges of being a business owner, and I know what I'm talking about—I'm in the same boat! Honestly, I have great respect for them and their philosophy. I chatted with them briefly on Friday; they are truly passionate and, moreover, honest people, which is becoming rare. They truly deserve the praise they receive.

Very refined, homemade, very pleasant

We came to eat as a family for Valentine's Day and received a very warm welcome, the service was very pleasant, and the food was excellent! A great place to eat! We will definitely be back!

Well, the bad weather is still here, but we're not going to let it get us down! A quick bite at a restaurant and we're good to go. Nice setting. Impeccable service. As an amuse-bouche, butternut crème brûlée. For the main course, pike quenelle gratin with an absolutely divine Aurore sauce (personally, I would have liked a stronger pike flavor; was it Giraudet brand? The best, in my opinion). Then, for the main course, grilled beef chuck with a wine sauce that was, once again, amazing. And to finish, for dessert, a "real" chocolate fondant, just like the rest of the meal...EXCELLENT. To wash it all down, a local blonde beer, La Bressane, which was just to my liking (that is to say, not bitter and hoppy like the current trend among young people). A special mention for the excellent multigrain bread that accompanied this excellent meal. Will I come back? "For sure," and with friends...but I'll make a reservation.

We had a very pleasant time at the inn (excellent food, lovely, quiet interior, impeccable service). I had specified when making my reservation that it was the two gentlemen's birthday, and we were surprised at dessert time with a candle on each of their desserts—a very thoughtful touch. We will return for other occasions and in warmer weather, as the terrace is lovely. A very nice place.

Everything was perfect; our end-of-year team dinner went very well. The setting and service were lovely, and the food was exquisite and fresh. Thank you again for a wonderful evening!

Sunday lunch, November 23rd. Table for 7. In the small village of Lent, discover this inn. The interior is bright yet cozy. On the plate, pure bliss. The service is impeccable, always with a smile. A wonderful menu offering a wide range of flavors. Our taste buds were delighted. A must-try.
