Just WOW! We arrived in Saint Vincent les Forts on a Monday, and checked everyday if this restaurant was open. Then we learned the restaurant open only on weekends off season. We called on a Friday and what a relieve, we finally managed to make a reservation. We had heard good things about the restaurant and really looked forward to it. We recieved a warm welcome on arrival! The lady was friendly, energetic and proactive. The restaurant is super cozy, quaint, warm and interestingly charming. Really interesting decor which perfectly suits a mounting restaurant. We just loved it!🤩😍🥰 We started with a selection of aperetif, then starters, snails and a platter to share. Which were delicious! Main course was nothing but perfect! 👌👌👌😋 we were really happy with our mouth watering meals. I had ribs and they were juicy! Drinks were refreshing. I had white wine and it was perfectly chilled. There’s nothing worse than drinking a warm glass of white wine. My wine was really perfectly chilled! 👌 Dessert was delicious! We arrived there hungry and left super full and satisfied. We couldn’t praise the meals and service more! Thank you L’Auberge for the amazing experience.

A very pleasant meal on a charming terrace surrounded by mountain peaks. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The presentation of the dishes was elegant. Two minor drawbacks, however, marred this otherwise positive picture. When I asked if I could possibly be served something other than fries, the waitress replied peremptorily that the ribeye steak was served with salad and very few fries anyway. She didn't even ask the chef, who was the sole judge of the matter. As we were leaving the restaurant after paying, the same person stopped us to demand payment for the coffee, which she hadn't added to the bill. We only had two credit cards and a 50-euro note. Very grudgingly, she deigned not to charge us. The least she could have done was not mention it or, at the very least, turn the incident into a gesture of goodwill and offer it to us for free! We had dinner there in the evening. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the waiter very pleasant and helpful. The meat was of very good quality and the homemade dishes delicious. I recommend it.

As visitors from Lyon, we found this restaurant which delighted our taste buds with a small but high-quality menu in a charming little village 🥰

A nice little restaurant above Serre-Ponçon. Small but eclectic menu, the trout, vegetable tartare and creamy parmesan risotto was delicious, the hot box was excellent, perfect service, in short, if you are in the area don't hesitate.
