A fantastic experience, a village just the way we like them. Peaceful and incredibly charming. The Auberge Pierre Bayle was a real find. We ordered à la carte. It was truly a delight. Refined cuisine, a feast for the eyes (a presentation worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant), impeccable service, a chef who loves what he does, and it shows in the food. We were even offered coffee—a lovely touch. If you're looking to discover a restaurant and enjoy a peaceful moment with an exceptional view of the Pyrenees, this is the place for you. I highly recommend it. Thank you. There are still passionate people out there.

21/08/2024: Na een bezoek aan het kunstenaars dorpje Carla-Bayle wat zeker de moeite waard was, nog even lekker gelunched. Dit restaurant was ons aangeraden en dat was zeker een goed tip. Authentiek pand met leuk tafeltjes en een open keuken. Vriendelijke bediening die prima Engels spreekt. We hebben het lunch menu genomen voor 21 euro pp wat in deze streek een normale prijs is voor de lunch. Ik moet zeggen echt zegge het was heerlijk. Ik vond vooral de creativiteit van de gerechten bijzonder het begon voor mij met een panne cotta wat een nagerecht is al voor gerecht en dat was bijzonder lekker de structuur was wat vaster en er zat een echt heel lekker tomaten saus op. Het hoofd gerecht was twee stukjes kip maar zo lekker verpakt. De kip was gebraden in een Cranberry saus maar met een heerlijk ondergrond van couscous in een sinaasappel saus met daarop sinaasappel stukjes en peen spaghetti . De smaken harmonieerde heerlijk met elkaar. Ook de chocolade mouse al nagerecht was heerlijk. Echt een restaurant om een langs te gaan we gaan zelf zeker nog ens terug
