Visite 2 x par an dans ce superbe établissement...
A chacun de nos passages toujours le même constat....
Topissime du début à la fin...
Accueil très souriant dès notre arrivée....
Menu à 95€ exceptionnel ( voir les photos)
Serveuses hyper pro et très souriantes..
Sommelier excellent dans ses conseils sans forcer à la consommation (route oblige)
Les plats sont cuisinés avec une extrême finesse tout en mélangeant les saveurs....
Je vais arrêter mes louanges sinon les gens vont croire que je fais parti de la maison...
Pour conclure il s'agissait de l'anniversaire de mon épouse que nous avions déjà fêté l'année dernière dans ce restaurant....
Cette fois-ci je n'ai rien dit...
Au moment du dessert une bougie en souhaitant un joyeux anniversaire...
Si ça c'est pas du professionnalisme je n'y comprends plus rien...

We have known the house for over 12 years now. We discovered it as lovers, then continued to appreciate it and share it with those around us. We even trusted Laurent and his entire charming team to celebrate our wedding, which was an unforgettable day. Our children ate their first star meal there and love celebrating the important events of their lives there (which still involves a 1.5 hour drive but when you love you don't count!). We do not understand the nasty reviews published and wanted to share our experience.
We came for dinner this evening and as always there was great attention for young and old. The service is smiling, helpful and ensures that all customers have a good evening.
The children enjoyed a meat or fish menu accompanied by spaezle and had the pleasure of tasting the aperitifs, appetizers and sweets like the adults! (And they love it!). For dessert they have the right to choose ice cream with the pastry chef directly behind the scenes in the kitchen! And the choice is difficult! :-) The little Alsatian bread is still very popular and I always love their fig and hazelnut bread, served hot with their homemade butter, it's a delight!
I tried the zander with green beans and an exquisite cream sauce. And for dessert the soufflé (a must try! Remember to order it at the start of the meal for those in a hurry because there is a 20 minute wait!). I also love Vacherin, a great house classic.
Normally, we take the menu of your choice which allows you to taste a wider range of the chef's cuisine for 95 euros (this evening alone with the children, it was simpler).
We were treated to a magnificent homemade cake to celebrate an event and they were kind enough to offer to wrap it to extend the pleasure tomorrow at home all together.

In terms of the restaurant, the meal is good but relatively standard.
We didn't enjoy the dessert but that may be a matter of taste.
The service left something to be desired for a Michelin-starred restaurant: the sommelier forgot the wine with the meal, and our jackets were mixed with those of other customers...

If the building is pretty and warm, the room and the table left us disappointed, a very very noisy and freezing room. As for the restaurant side, unfortunately the dishes were not worthy of a starred restaurant, the service was nevertheless very attentive. A very mixed experience overall. Damage.

We had dinner in this restaurant because we were offered a wonder box. When paying, the waitress did not want to accept it because I had not presented it to her at the start of the meal. Despite my insistence, she did not want to take it. This forces us to come back (not very honest sales technique)!!!

Une très belle cuisine alsacienne raffinée. Le foie gras qui vaut le déplacement et pour lequel le chef maîtrise parfaitement l'équilibre sucré/acidité (la choucroute douce est étonnante et harmonise à merveille). Les knepflés aux truffes blanches achetées en direct d'Italie sont un régal.
Service stylé et impeccable. Le sommelier est très professionnel sans ce côté arrogant que l'on trouve trop souvent dans cette profession en France. Les mariages plats/vins furent parfait.
Dormir dans ce bel établissement bien géré et familial ne peut qu'arrondir cette belle expérience.
