Auberge Saint Martin sur Bouilland

We made a reservation as a couple and were the only guests – they opened especially for us. They cooked just for us. It was fantastic: great service, helpful advice, delicious food, creative, seasonal, and lovingly prepared cuisine – highly recommended. The ambiance is traditionally simple but charming. English was no problem.

We were delighted to dine at this charming inn in the heart of a beautiful, peaceful village. The owners are incredibly kind, and I personally thoroughly enjoyed the snails and the coq au vin, which I digested perfectly. My wife appreciated the attention given to her gluten-free diet (she has celiac disease) and is very grateful to the chef. In short, a highly recommended place. The real Burgundy, indeed.

A very nice and very good restaurant. My partner and I were passing through the area and we were absolutely not disappointed. The staff were very pleasant, we ate very well with beautifully presented and generous portions. I highly recommend it!!! 😁
