Auberge Saint Nicolas sur Chessy

The most amazing experience! We visited here for a couple of days to see Disneyland and we had a little walk from our hotel- The residence- to discover this gem. The staff are great and the food, wine- the Saint Nicolas- and the desserts were out of this world! Beautiful sunny and quiet location to enjoy a beautiful lunch. It is not to be missed if you are here to explore Disneyland but not to forget what the local area has to offer and at some great value! 5 out of 5!

In Chessy 77, just 5 minutes from the giant mice and princesses of Disneyland Paris, on the village square next to the post office and in the shade of the linden trees, you can delight your eyes and tantalize your taste buds at the Auberge Saint Nicholas. A tobacconist/newsagent/bar and restaurant, it offers an indoor dining room, a heated veranda, and an outdoor terrace for the warmer, sunnier days of summer, like today. From the moment we made our reservation by phone, we received a warm welcome, which was confirmed upon our arrival. We were offered a choice of table: inside, veranda, or terrace—our choice. Efficient and friendly service; the menu arrived quickly, and our waitress's genuine enthusiasm led us to the set menu of the day: eggs mayonnaise and homemade terrine. A delightful start! Please excuse me, I didn't take a photo, having only decided to write a review afterward. The meal continued with a generous, perfectly cooked flank steak, salad, and homemade fries, as well as incredibly fresh pollack on a bed of garlicky broccoli purée, its pearly texture confirmed by its exquisite taste. We finished with a sublime homemade chocolate mousse accompanied by ristretto coffees with a chocolate almond coating, served in warm cups, a delightful end to this high-quality lunch. That's why you're reading this; it seemed only right to acknowledge everyone's dedication to this establishment. We drank bottled water, but the wines offered were also very well chosen, just like the menu. I went in for a coffee and I really regretted it. The coffee is not tasty, the staff is not friendly.

A wonderful discovery. We had lunch at the inn today, and the butcher's cut (flank steak) was cooked exactly as requested and melted in your mouth. The desserts are homemade. I highly recommend it.

Delicious! We were looking for a good alternative to eating at Disneyland. It was definitely the right choice… highly recommended!! Parking right next door. We'll be back.

Excellent andouillette... a perfect sauce!
