Fantastic time! The welcome was incredibly warm, even though we arrived late. The food was delicious, prepared by passionate chefs (thank you, David!). A truly wonderful culinary and social experience. Thank you to the whole team!

As regulars at this restaurant, whether ordering the lunch menu or à la carte, we're always delighted by the authentic cuisine and fresh ingredients! Just had another delicious meal!! The foie gras is outstanding and the meat prepared on a real wood BBQ tastes sublime! The owner and staff also provide the best service, even though we don't speak French! Until next time

We stopped here on our way to our holiday destination. The meal was delicious and plentiful! The meat was tender and flavorful, even the minced steak in the kids' menu! 😊 The French toast was to die for. Everything was perfect!

Restaurant l'Escale entre Terre et Mer

12/08/2026: Perfect from start to finish. The dishes are delicious and carefully prepared, the meats are flavorful, the homemade fries are to die for, and the tarte tatin is a little marvel. The service was polite and very pleasant. Highly recommended. Beware of the mosquitoes outside; they enjoyed their meal just as much as I did.
12/08/2026: We stopped in here while driving through France to Northern Spain. It was a random pick chosen from Google maps as it wasn't too far off the motorway. It is a lovely restaurant in a strange location - next to supermarket on an industrial estate. There's lots of parking as a result! The food was great, the place was very clean and the staff were friendly. It's definitely worth a visit if you are passing nearby.

09/09/2026: First time but certainly not the last, top-notch in every way 😎
02/09/2026: We stopped here on our way from Bordeaux to Angoulême. The service was quick and very thorough. The homemade dishes were excellent. Good value for money. We chose the set menu (starter, main course, dessert) for €17. The chocolate mousse was also very, very good. We'll definitely stop by again. Thank you to the team for their warm welcome and friendliness.
