Autour D'un Cep sur Angers

Nous avons passé une bonne soirée dans ce petit resto à Angers. Le menu est à l'aveugle, alors on se laisse embarquer dans l'aventure. Au menu : une entrée à base de céleri très goûteuse, en plat du maigre accompagné d'une purée de potiron, un dessert autour de la poire. L'ensemble était très harmonieux et bon et mon seul bémol reste le prix. Il est vrai que le menu à 50e est un chouia trop cher à mon goût.

Inventive, innovative and absolutely delicious food, thoughtfully prepared and served with grace. The wines served with the food were also interesting and delightful. Excellent prices too!

Exceptionally high quality dinner with friendly service for a reasonable price

We discovered this place thanks to the Michelin guide during a couple's weekend in Angers. Magnificent place, very peaceful, a smiling and warm welcome accompanied by refined cuisine. Excellent advice for pairing food & wine and tasty cocktails. Thank you very much 😊

We had the 'surprise' tasting menu and it was superb. Delicious food prepared in imaginative, surprising ways. Would highly recommend for the food. The restaurant is a little austere in decoration.

Friendly service and very good lunch

1st time around a vine for us. An unforgettable experience… blind menu! The restaurant is very family-friendly, with only 5 tables available. The cuisine was exceptional with a mixture of particular flavors which makes the dishes unique, and exceptional service, with great care for these customers and good advice! I highly recommend this authentic restaurant, which changes its menu every season! We can’t wait for autumn to come and discover the new menu 😇 Another congratulations to the chef for his sensitivity to organic and small artisans. 👏🏻

First of all regarding the cuisine: very good! (single 7-course menu). On the border between gastro and bisto, sometimes refined, sometimes classic, you come out with a full stomach and your taste buds still tingling. Almost no complaints about the service which is pleasant and warm. Very extensive wine list with a plethora of choices, quality advice. However, be careful with the waiting time between courses, arriving at 8 p.m. we had our dessert at past 11:30 p.m.! I know we're here to take our time, but the time was a little long at the end. The room can be a little noisy (due to the acoustics). Prices a tad too high for my taste (especially when we compare with other establishments in the same price range). Not enough "accessible" wines on the wine list, too bad we can offer excellent wines without necessarily going for bottles at €90. In conclusion: we will go back but maybe not in the evening :)
