Lots of varied and good choices. A nice setting, especially the terrace. A pleasure to come to your home. (Small disappointment compared to smokers on the terrace however)

A gem in Grand Clément Villeurbanne. A first “standard” room which hides a back shop and a charming terrace. The cuisine is homemade and excellent at reasonable prices. The chef even preferred to remake my chocolate fondant because he didn't find it melting enough! Striving for perfection! There are both slightly gourmet dishes (foie gras, pan-fried prawns: delicious) and more "brasserie" dishes (burrata tomatoes, home-fried flank steaks: just as good). Desserts to match.

La Brasserie du Theatre

23/09/2024: Very good discovery, pleasant meal and very friendly staff including the waiter who is undoubtedly made for this profession. I highly recommend if you are passing through Villeurbanne
24/07/2024: Lieu magique pour l'accueil, le service et la cuisine savoureuse du chef et de son équipe . Plats préparés avec passion et saveur. Ambiance cocooning. Les samedis après-midi en terrasse en été sont agréables. Les petits concerts d"'été les samedis vers 18h sont très agréable avant de profiter des saveurs du restaurant. Un grand merci à un chef de talent et à son épouse toujours souriante et disponible. Leur personnel est conforme à l'esprit de la maison. Il faut leur pardonner de vous faire attendre parfois, mais il est normal qu'avec une si grande fréquentation ,on se doit de savoir attendre avec humour et grâce. Autre avantage du lieu, on y rencontre des gens sympas et qui aiment partager leur ressenti avec des rencontres de l'instant. Venez découvrir ce lieu convivial et reposant.
