Aux Arts Tisane sur Nancy

Absolutely incredible experience. I would strongly recommend visiting this restaurant to anyone in the area—it was one of the highlights of our time there. From the moment we arrived, the owner was unbelievably kind and welcoming. Even though my French is très mauvais, we managed to communicate through a mix of English and French (: The food was not only delicious but also truly memorable. I had the vegan bao and the avocado toast, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. My father had the croque monsieur and two eggs, and was just as impressed. The freshly pressed orange juice was the perfect addition and made the meal feel even more special. The atmosphere of the restaurant was just as lovely—calm, cozy, and inviting, with a charm that makes you want to stay longer than planned. Overall, a wonderful place with amazing food and even better hospitality. I would come back anytime.

A warm and friendly welcome from the owner. Good value for money. There were three of us, and we had a very good fish dish – it was delicious. The beef was also excellent, as was the pretzel burger. The half-baked cookies were a hit with everyone. The restaurant is located in a quiet courtyard, and the terrace is spacious and sunny.

Brunching in Nancy often means a queue on the sidewalks. But not here (at least not yet). Having tried a number of places, I can say that, yes, the location may be less Instagrammable than some competitors, but the quality is definitely there. The dishes are varied, delicious, and filling. Moreover, since brunch is offered all day, it's possible to satisfy any appetite, big or small; from a latte to brunch or even a full meal. In short, a very good place.

Friendly welcome and atmosphere. No pressure to leave, unlike some city center restaurants. A solo waiter, so credit to him for his hard work and dedication. The downsides: the chicken bao was tiny; I was still hungry when I left. The cappuccino was sorely lacking in milk (an extra €0.80 for oats). My friends who had brunch thoroughly enjoyed it.
