We came for a birthday celebration for 11 people. A set menu with a tomato theme. An exceptional combination of flavors and wonderful culinary discoveries. 🤤 The cuisine is very sophisticated and refined. 👌 The service is quick, efficient, and friendly. 😇 I didn't award a fifth star because, for me, the portions were slightly too small for my hearty appetite, but their special root vegetable bread was delicious! 😁 Thanks again to the team and the chef; it was a wonderful time with friends! 🥰

This restaurant is one of the best in Lyon. No more, no less. An affordable menu where you can feel the passion of the chef and his entire team, creating a perfectly balanced experience of flavors and textures! The menu changes (I booked the day before yesterday and wanted octopus, but tonight I was delighted with tuna… a happy coincidence of what's available at the market…) and yes, it's always a treat. The welcome is warm and the front-of-house staff performs a perfectly orchestrated ballet to ensure you enjoy every moment of your meal. Whether you're dining as a couple, with friends, or with family, don't hesitate.

I had the pleasure of discovering the Racine restaurant in Valmy, and I can say that this experience far exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a smile by a warm, attentive, and highly professional team. We immediately felt at ease in an elegant and welcoming setting, perfect for a pleasant time with friends, family, or as a couple. As for the food, everything was excellent. The dishes are prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and this is evident from the first bite. The flavors are perfectly balanced, the cooking is expertly executed, and the plates are as beautiful to look at as they are delicious to eat. Every detail is carefully considered, which testifies to the chef's skill and passion. The service is impeccable: the servers are available, attentive, and offer excellent advice on choosing dishes and drinks. The pace of the meal is perfectly managed, without excessive waiting, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The value for money is also very good considering the quality of the food, the service, and the overall experience. It's the kind of place you want to return to in order to explore the rest of the menu. In short, Les Racines is an excellent restaurant that I recommend without hesitation. Delicious food and friendly service.

The tasting menu was such fun, but unfortunately there were no wine pairings and it was hard to chose if you didn’t know what you were eating. Staff was very helpful after I didn’t like a wine. They replaced it and life was fabulous!

Excellent restaurant. The dishes are delicious and well-prepared, in a pleasant yet relaxed atmosphere. We'll be back!
