Pleasant setting Attentive staff Excellent meal

The daily special reminded me of a school cafeteria meal... Raw vegetables followed by potato salad dressed with mayonnaise... in Alsace? I ended up ordering from the menu, which was decent. The service was what it was...

We ate there as a party of six this evening. The service was very slow and erratic. One of the waitresses was bordering on rude. Unfortunately, the meat (hanger steak) was inedible, like shoe leather. (These things happen, and we remained very polite to the waitstaff.) A second plate arrived, which was no better than the first. No problem, the person in question ordered another dish: duck, which was very good. We had two identical desserts at our table; the second chocolate fondant arrived 20 minutes after the first. The bill arrived inside, and the owner was standing at the bar. He offered no apology for the meat, simply stating that the price of the duck was the same as the hanger steak… Not a single gesture, not even a free coffee! It's a real shame not to live up to the standards of such an establishment. The prices are far too high considering the quality and quantity of the dishes offered. Obviously, we won't be back. Be vigilant in the future. Nevertheless, two good members of the team.

We ate there for the first time on May 1st with friends, and the meal was perfect. For starters, we had avocado and smoked salmon—delicious! I had the duck breast with orange sauce, and my husband had the cordon bleu with spätzle. For dessert, we had French toast with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel. Kudos to the staff! Thank you so much for the service and the food. We'll be back! 😉

I stopped in here on a whim and received a very warm welcome. They offered a set lunch menu with a pâté and beetroot salad as a starter, followed by smoked pork loin with mustard sauce and mashed potatoes as a main course. Both dishes were exceptionally well-prepared and delicious. 😋 I didn't try the beetroot salad myself – simply because I don't like beetroot. The value for money is also outstanding – absolutely top-notch! 👍 It's wonderful that there are such great restaurants around here.
