We came from the Oise region and were delighted to discover this charming restaurant. The welcome was very friendly, and the homemade food was excellent. We will gladly return!
On a motorcycle trip, I rode through the north (and without my passport, since it's from Pas-de-Calais 🤪) and stopped at "Aux Bons Amis" in Esquerchin for lunch. If good accounts make good friends, I'll add that good meals do too 👍

Excellent home-style cooking! A real treat! Set menu (starter, main course, dessert) for €20.50. You can also choose between a starter and main course or a main course and dessert.
I recommend making a reservation, especially on Thursdays when they serve an excellent daily special, depending on the owner's mood: mussels and fries, cassoulet, couscous, or even seafood sauerkraut! All homemade!
03/09/2025: This Wednesday, September 3, 2025, a short stop at this place to eat! Dorothée, who is in the kitchen, very smiling and attentive, concocted a meal for me, homemade with fresh and local products... In all simplicity, I enjoyed myself with very tasty fries, a small salad and turkey breast. The dessert, a tart made by Dorothée with pieces of fruit topped with whipped cream concluded this delicious meal before the traditional coffee... and all this for a more than reasonable price! Congratulations Dorothée! 🤩
