We came yesterday to celebrate my brother's birthday. We arrived at 7:30 PM and didn't start eating until 9:00 PM, so that was the first big problem. Let's start with the arrival: we asked to eat inside because it was 20 degrees Celsius with a slight breeze, and our children were cold. We were refused because the table was set outside, and nothing was set inside, so that was a bit of a letdown. We were seated and given menus. We noticed that the fondues advertised on the website and at the restaurant entrance weren't available, so I asked a waitress who told me they usually were but that she would check with the owner. No one came to see us after 10 minutes, so I called the owner, who told me that due to the recent cold weather, they only had two kinds left. We were still thinking about it, but almost 45 minutes after our arrival, no one came to take our order. So I called the owner again, who this time told me they were completely out of fondue. Without wasting any time, we ordered raclette, and then came the surprise: we weren't seated at a table with an electrical outlet, so we had to move. When we arrived at our new table, again, no one was there to take our order (yes, because it hadn't been taken when we first ordered raclette). So I called out to a waitress again, and she finally came to take it. More than an hour and a half passed, and the appetizers we had ordered finally arrived. But those of us who had only ordered main courses (including me) still hadn't received anything (it would be helpful to ask beforehand if those ordering only a main course would like to receive their appetizers at the same time). The raclette finally arrived, and we were served one identical piece for four people, one for two people, and only one raclette grill (you know, the old-fashioned kind that heats the cheese wheel from both sides), when two grills would have been more appropriate for four people. When they came to clear our plates, the owner had the nerve to tell us we could have asked for another small piece, which she would have given us without charging. But this hadn't been offered beforehand, so at 10:30 PM, and with the cold weather upon us, we clearly didn't want any more, and the portion was definitely too small. The owner justified her mistakes with laughter and jokes and didn't seem at all embarrassed by the situation.

Passing through on our way to the Jura region, we made a wonderful discovery. A magnificent setting, a very warm welcome, and a superb menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
