Here, there are no "creations" served in extremely small portions, which are indeed little gems crafted by a chef who is more artist than cook. At Monsieur Gheno's, it's about haute cuisine focused on the customer's pleasure rather than flattering the creator and those who might boast of having frequented the place. The high-quality service is paradoxically more controlled and warm thanks to the younger members of the dining room staff, such as Valentin, than to the more experienced staff, who are perhaps a little weary of the routine. The wine list is remarkable, with reasonable prices for a Michelin-starred restaurant and considering the origin of the wines.
